This work was made in response to the 13 countries that still have the death penalty for homosexuality.
Part of it's beauty is that the work can be transported to and installed almost anywhere by the Artist.
The work is applied directly to the floor, viewers are not restricted from walking over the piece so that over time the image is slowly erased.
The way the glitter dissipates is a visual metaphor for how 'progressive' governments like to ignore the issue and continue to trade, often with weapons.
